API Documentation

This document provides instructions for integrating Google Maps APIs into Campus Cats, an app that I helped develop as part of a group project. It details key implementation steps, including API authentication, map rendering, adding location markers, retrieving user geolocation, and handling errors. Designed for my co-developers, this documentation served as a practical guide for implementing the app’s interactive mapping features.

I created this document using LaTeX, a markup-based typesetting system similar to authoring tools like OxygenXML and MadCapFlare.

This is an API document I created as a Technical Writing Intern at WTS Paradigm, following the Paradigm style guide and documenting endpoints, authentication, request/response formats, and error handling.

It was originally developed in Atlassian Confluence, but I converted it to Microsoft Word to make anonymizing edits. The code snippets are included as screenshots rather than copyable code blocks due to restrictions on my Microsoft student account.
